There is no basis for the report that when Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)returned from his Mi`raj he found his bedsheet still warm, and he found a vessel that had been overturned before his Mi`raj still dripping water, and he found the chain of the door still swinging.

We do not know of any source for the hadith which reads: “Whoever offers congratulations to people for this blessed month (i.e. Rabi` al-Awwal), the Fire will be forbidden for him”, and it is clearly fabricated.

The words mentioned in this hadith about lying are not from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). Therefore, it is not permissible to attribute this to the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). The basic principle is that zina is worse than telling lies
