1- The virtue of doing ‘Umrah in Ramadan is general in meaning and is attained by all those who do ‘Umrah in Ramadan. 2- What is meant by equivalency in the hadith ‘Umrah in Ramadan is equivalent to Hajj’ is the equivalency between the reward for ‘umrah in Ramadan and the reward for Hajj in terms of amount, not in terms of type.

There are different types of tawaf: 1- tawaf al-ifadah; 2- tawaf al-qudum; 3- tawaf of ‘Umrah; 4-tawaf al-wada’; 5- tawaf in fulfillment of a vow; and 6: voluntary tawaf.
