It is permissible to eat peacock meat because the basic principle is that it is permissible . Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “He it is Who created for you all that is on earth.” [Al-Baqarah 2:29]
Peacock does not come under the same heading as the things prohibited in the Hadith: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the eating of every animal that has fangs and every bird that has talons. (Narrated by Muslim, 3574)
Also, peacock is not harmful, so it is permissible to eat it.
